Oops – there no longer is a part 3! The service it covered changed things, so it’s no longer possible to access their podcasts using Asterisk, at least not the way we were doing it.  All the important stuff from this post was rolled back into the previous installment: Using Asterisk and FreePBX as a podcast player – part 2 of 3

    This is great, thanks. Is there a way to grab podcasts that don’t have a .xml pointer? I’ve been trying to adapt your scripts to grab http://www.arrl.org/arrlletter/audio/aan.rss
